By registering an account you enter into a legally binding agreement with Kintity Softech Private Limited. Please read these terms carefully before using the platform.
Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Kintity platform, operated by Kintity Softech Private Limited (“the Company”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.
These Terms are governed by applicable law in the Company's registered jurisdiction. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the platform.
Zero-Knowledge Acknowledgment
By registering, you explicitly acknowledge and agree to the following regarding Kintity's Zero-Knowledge architecture.
Critical — Please Read Carefully
The Company does not possess, store, or have the ability to reset or recover your Master Recovery Key or decryption credentials. If you lose your authentication methods and your Recovery Key, your encrypted data is permanently and irrecoverably inaccessible. The Company is not liable for data loss resulting from your failure to secure your keys.
This is not a limitation of our service level—it is an intentional architectural property that protects you from corporate data breaches and unauthorized access. You are the sole custodian of your encryption keys.
Account Security & Authentication
Kintity uses passwordless authentication with passkeys and verification codes. You are responsible for maintaining the integrity of your access credentials.
Access to your vault requires successful authentication via your passkey (fingerprint, face, or device PIN). Sensitive actions require an additional verification code from your authenticator app.
You are entirely responsible for maintaining the physical security of your registered devices and the confidentiality of your Master Recovery Key. This key should be stored offline, in a physically secure location, as it is the only mechanism for account recovery if your primary devices are unavailable.
You must notify us immediately if you believe your account credentials have been compromised. We reserve the right to suspend accounts showing signs of unauthorized access to protect the integrity of the platform.
Beneficiary Designation & Execution
You are solely responsible for the accuracy and currency of all beneficiary designations stored on the platform.
Accuracy of Information
You are responsible for providing accurate contact information for your designated beneficiaries and for updating that information when it changes. The Company is not liable for failed deliveries resulting from outdated or incorrect contact details.
Automated Release Triggers
The platform executes data release strictly based on your predefined, automated trigger conditions—including inactivity timers and externally verified life events. Once a trigger condition is met and verified, release proceeds automatically according to your configured protocol.
Waiver of Dispute
Kintity is not an arbiter of family disputes, legal inheritance proceedings, or contested beneficiary claims. The platform mechanically delivers encrypted payloads to designated contacts based solely on your exact programmed instructions. Disputes regarding the rightful entitlement to vault contents are outside the scope of our service and must be resolved through appropriate legal channels.
Acceptable Use Policy
You may use Kintity only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
You agree not to store any material that is illegal under applicable law, including but not limited to content that exploits minors, stolen intellectual property, or software designed to cause harm.
You acknowledge that because Kintity operates on a Zero-Knowledge architecture, the Company cannot actively monitor or inspect the contents of any vault. However, if the Company is made aware of illegal activity through a valid law enforcement process, the Company reserves the right to immediately terminate the account and permanently delete the associated ciphertext without prior notice, and to cooperate with authorities to the full extent permitted by applicable law.
You agree not to use the platform to circumvent any applicable law or regulation, or to facilitate any form of fraud, identity theft, or financial crime.
Limitation of Liability
The platform is provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Company limits its liability as follows.
Cap on Damages
The Company's total cumulative liability to you for any and all claims arising from your use of the platform shall not exceed the total fees you paid to the Company in the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the claim.
Service Interruptions
The Company shall not be liable for any service interruption, downtime, data inaccessibility, or platform failure caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to infrastructure failures, acts of God, or force majeure events.
No Legal or Professional Advice
Nothing in the Kintity platform or its documentation constitutes legal, financial, estate planning, or tax advice. Users are solely responsible for ensuring their vault configuration and beneficiary designations comply with the laws of their applicable jurisdiction.
